Not a Substitute for Medical or Mental Health Treatment
Lawers Skai provides wellness coaching. It is not a substitute for medical care, psychiatric treatment, psychotherapy, or counselling. Patrick Phillips is a wellness coach, not a licensed therapist, psychotherapist, psychologist, or medical professional, and nothing offered through Lawers Skai should be understood as diagnosis, treatment, or professional mental health advice.
Wellness coaching is intended for individuals who are not currently in crisis and who have, where relevant, already engaged with appropriate clinical or therapeutic support. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact your GP, NHS 111, the Samaritans (116 123), or emergency services (999) as appropriate. Coaching sessions are not equipped to provide crisis intervention or emergency support.
If you have a diagnosed mental health condition, are currently receiving psychiatric or psychological treatment, or are unsure whether coaching is appropriate for you, please consult your doctor or treating clinician before beginning sessions.
Physical Activity and Outdoor Sessions
Some sessions take place outdoors, including guided walks in rural and mountainous landscapes across Scotland, and may involve physical activity such as walking on uneven or challenging terrain. You are responsible for assessing your own physical fitness and suitability for outdoor and physical activity, and for informing Patrick Phillips of any relevant health conditions, injuries, or limitations before a session. If you have any concerns about your fitness for physical activity, please consult your GP beforehand.
Participation in outdoor sessions is at your own risk. Appropriate clothing, footwear, and preparation for Scottish weather conditions are your responsibility.
No Guarantee of Outcomes
While every session is delivered with genuine care and professional commitment, Lawers Skai cannot guarantee specific results, outcomes, or timeframes for personal growth, wellbeing, or transformation. Individual experiences vary, and progress depends on many factors outside the coach's control.
